At Hugsytoys, your happiness is our priority! While we hope every cuddle is perfect, we understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned. This Return & Refund Policy explains when and how you can return a product or request a refund in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
1. Change of Mind
Unfortunately, we do not offer returns or refunds for change of mind due to the hygienic nature of plush toys.
We encourage you to read product descriptions carefully and feel free to reach out before purchasing if you have any questions!
2. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, we will happily offer a:
- Replacement (same or similar product)
- Refund
- Store credit
To be eligible:
- Notify us within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide clear photos of the issue and your order number

3. Return Process
If a return is approved:
- We’ll provide you with a return address and instructions.
- Returned items must be unused, unwashed, and in original packaging.
- You may be required to cover return shipping unless the error was ours.
4. Refunds
Refunds (if approved) will be processed back to your original payment method. Please allow up to 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.
5. Exchanges
We do not offer traditional exchanges for different products. If you’d like something else, we recommend requesting a return (if eligible) and placing a new order separately.
6. Consumer Guarantees
This policy does not override your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a refund or replacement if a product is:
- Not of acceptable quality
- Not as described
- Not fit for purpose
